Log cabin with log fireplace/heat/central AC. Dock, beach, kayaks, canoe, pedal boat. July & August Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals. Peacefully located on the east side of Upper Chateaugay Lake; with easy access to the cabin and lake. Amenities +

Freshly renovated, private, cozy year-round cabin where amazing sunsets paint the sky.

This tranquil property has a private beach and dock. Summer and winter activities can be enjoyed such as: hiking, swimming, amazing sunsets., boating, bird watching, star gazing, sleigh riding and relaxing by the fire. There is a resident bald eagle family on the lake. Loons are also a resident.

Note: Pet Fee $75.
Accepting 2024 Rentals.
July/August Saturday-Saturday Summer rentals.
Fall/winter rentals are 2 night minimum.

---------- D E S C R I P T I O N. ----------
This cabin has two bedrooms, new queen size sleeper sofa, comfortable living room, kitchen, dining on the enclosed porch; which overlooks scenic views, equipped with a full bathroom. Bedroom 1 - king, bedroom 2 - queen, living room sofa bed - queen. All pillows & linens provided.

A washer/dryer & detergent/dryer sheets are provided.

To control extreme temperatures a new hot air furmace/central air conditioner always keeps the cabin comfortable.

Enjoy the indoor propane log fireplace. Adventure out in the canoe, kayaks or pedal boat. Make S'mores by the fire pit near the beach. Firewood is provided. Walk or bike ride on the road that follows the beautiful shoreline. The sandy beach has easy walk in access for all of the boats mentioned. Life jackets are supplied. The beach and fire pit can be seen from inside the cabin along with the beautiful sunsets.

Enjoy board games, puzzles, and books. This also includes children's games, toys and books. There are 3 smart TVs equipped with Roku/Directv Stream. One TV also has a DVD player. The internet is Slic Network/50Mbps.

-Located in Lyon Mountain NY
-The road follows the east shoreline of Upper Chateaugay Lake.
-Parking is next to the cabin. The area is flat ground. One low step onto a deck leads to the cabin.
-A lock box is used for convenient self check in.
-Guests have access to the entire property including sandy beach, dock, small boats/ life jackets, outdoor fire pit/wood, screen house, 2 decks, outdoor furniture/tables & chairs, propane barbeque grill. The view of the firepit and sandy beach can be seen from the cabin.
-Easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing, boating, docking, ice fishing & snowmobiling.
-Inside the cabin guests have access to all necessary kitchen, bedroom & bathroom supplies; such as coffee pot/coffee, pots/pans, pantry items & more, linens/towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, soap, shampoo, & paper products, TV, internet, games, toys, puzzles, and books.

This is a great remote job site. Besides the standard electricity, there is an automatic start generator to keep everything in working order.

This property was the perfect location for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The cabin is extremely cozy and has all the elements for a great stay! Peaceful Adirondack Retreat
We had a great vacation in August 2023 spending a week at this beautiful oasis in the Adirondacks. First of all Susan as host is a great communicator and gracious host. We rested, fished, hung out on the great dock, swam in the lake, kayaked, used the paddle boat, cooked, took our puppy on great walks, met some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met, played games, toasted s’mores and ate at some of the nice local eateries in the area. This cabin has everything you would want and need on a great vacation at the lake. I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin and camp to anyone looking for some rest, some peace and some fun . Wonderful Week at ADK
We had an awesome week at Adirondack Sunset! The description of the property was 100% accurate. Susan provides many amenities, which makes it easier not have to bring everything with you. She was also great about getting back to me with answers to my inquiries. We enjoyed sitting on the dock for countless hours, swimming, kayaking, sitting around the campfire, eating s’mores, and playing many games of Uno. We also had many sighting of Loons and one night where we could hear them calling to each other. (Time to watch On Golden Pond!) We brought along my 85 year old parents. This will probably be the last vacation they can take with us as my dad’s mind is slipping. So glad we have many fun memories and pictures to remember this trip by.

We swam, kayaked, fished, and did puzzles. We visited the waterfall mentioned in the binder of cabin information. We stopped by the Owlyout tavern for pizza and a game of pool. Best Rental I've Ever Stayed At
Words can't describe how amazing the whole experience was. Communication with the host, Susan, was such a delight and she was so quick to reply back to me and she reached out first about our upcoming stay and gave me instructions and all the information I would need. The cabin was AMAZING! The king size bed was the most comfortable bed I've personally ever slept on, because it was memory foam and it was the first time in 10 years I wasn't tossing and turning and waking up in pain. I even contacted her after our stay to get the bed information and she shared with me all the information I needed to know to order one for my home. She went above and beyond as a host and it was such a pleasure that she personally made our stay that much more memorable. As for the cabin and the property, it was just amazing! The cabin and property was super clean. It has a very nice gas grill, beautiful Adirondack chairs around a large handmade fire pit down by the water. A beach area that you can walk into and swim in your own secluded area and a beautiful dock. I LOVED that dock. I lived on the dock which has 2 chairs and a table attached to it and I literally sat there for hours on end enjoying the scenery, drinking my tea, sun bathing and fishing for hours. There are plenty of kayaks supplied for you with the life vests. There is also central AC (a huge plus!) and direct TV for those rainy days Overall, best rental I've ever stayed at. Thank you so much Susan for such an amazing stay!

Our recent cabin retreat with friends was absolutely perfect! The waterfront views were breathtaking, and the owner's hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Wonderful place to stay
This cozy log cabin in a rustic motif was decorated for the holidays. The gas fireplace provides a nice atmosphere for relaxing while reading a book or taking a nice nap. This was my wife's first venture to staying somewhere that is not a typical hotel/motel and the owners communication helped ease her mind and enabled us to enjoy our stay. They make every effort to ensure your stay is comfortable and are quick to reply to messages. Everything you could need during your say is provided, should you have forgotten your own; including toiletries, seasoning, and condiments. The best part is this property is dog friendly. Our pup had a wonderful time leaping through the snow. We would definitely choose this property again when looking to stay in this area.

I give this place and the property owners 1 million stars!! They property, cabin all of it...perfect!!! The amenities are countless!!! I wholeheartedly highly recommend this property!! Cute cabin that is perfectly situated on the lake for sunset views. It's a rustic cabin - but very, very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the options for heating the different rooms and the fireplace in the main area... and we enjoyed an evening on the dock sitting in the swivel chairs. Owners were almost immediately responsive to every question we had and had helpful guidance for us, as well. Very pleased with our stay.

Wonderful!
Stayed a couple days with my husband for a short quiet Adirondack getaway. It was just that! It was exactly as described. The Cabin was so cozy, clean and comfortable! We had everything we could need and then some. There’s lots of room in this 2 bedroom (very comfortable bed) 1 bath cabin, including an eat in kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace and porch with sitting area, table & chairs, washer/dryer, that runs from the front entrance to the back. There’s a front & back deck for lounging and a propane grill. From the cabin there’s beautiful views of the lake! has many views of the lake from the cabin. The lake is so gorgeous with views of the mountains . We enjoyed it from the dock and while sitting around the fire. Wood was supplied! I would love to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy some swimming from their little beach and go kayaking. We went sight seeing around Lyon Mountain, Saranac river, and high falls park, but mostly enjoyed staying at the cabin. Communications with Susan (host) were great regarding check in and directions, etc. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Would love to come back!

I wanted to get away for my 50th birthday, somewhere peaceful where we could spend some quality family time. Adirondack Sunset was everything we hoped for and more! The view is amazing and the cabin is cozy! Susan and Greg were quick to respond to any questions we had. Hope to be back soon!!

Great little cozy cabin
Had an amazing time celebrating my wives 50th birthday with family. Property was just as beautiful as pics show. The cabin has everything you will need and nothing is forgot! Had a great time fishing and golfing around the area. Susan kept us updated on any changes that might affect our stay. Great stay! Susan even had a birthday balloon waiting for my wife. Thank you very much!

Sunset reset!!!
We couldn’t have asked for more!! The house was spotless , the lake was perfect , the sunsets were amazing .. and the fire pit was relaxing . We will definitely be back !! Thank you Susan!!!
