”Our house was very quaint and high on the hill. I wouldn't recommend driving at night unless you're very comfortable navigating the roads. Our hostess was always available for any questions we had. The only issue was that there was no AC unit in the living room/kitchen area (only fans) which was uncomfortable cooking in on a hot summer day”

”The view was nice as well as the wildlife we wish we knew more about staying in the islands in the mountains-the power goes out a lot but he had a generator which allows some of the electric to work we had no internet all week and we were told that was normal as well and was worse since the hurricane. The host was nice and did help when he could especially with the generator. And with the washout on the mountain roads you definitely need a jeep or high clearance or you will bottom out in a low...

”We all loved this VRBO! Well appointed. You can tell the hostess put thought into everything. Extra beach towels, a cooler, comfortable chairs on deck, and great washer/dryer. Her directions made arrival and check in easy. Highly recommend.”

”The villa was clean, well-stocked, was in a great location and always had convenient parking (although really steep but we had a jeep). We were really surprised by the amount of beach “stuff” - goggles, face masks, beach towels, cooler, chairs, etc. which made it so much easier to enjoy the beautiful beaches. The back-up generator worked excellent during periods when the power was going off and on. Would 100% recommend - our family of 4 (11 & 14) had a wonderful time. Also recommend Mr Pipers...

”This is our second time staying in a studio owned by Anna May in Grande Bay Resort. She is more than accommodating and always very responsive. The studio is the perfect size for a couple. Even though there is not a full kitchen, there is a grill on the balcony and a skillet and burner in the kitchen. Grande Bay is a beautiful resort and the perfect location to walk to everything in Cruz Bay. ”

”First and foremost, this place is called Watergate villa, not Playa Linda. The communication could have been better if the host of this condo states that this is the private condo, not the hotel. And give us better communication of how the room access will be. My boyfriend was waiting outside thinking there is a hotel front desk so that he could look for. I did not fly till 2 days later and I was busy with work so I did not help him right away to get with support team of the app Vbro or Expedia....

”The place itself is great but you need a car or to take a taxi to go anywhere besides beach and onsite pool and restaurant. If you want to walk to other restaurants and bars, it is not safe to do so. We would prefer to stay on St. John’s next trip. ”

”Likes.. The actual area of the property, The woman who lives there, lovely lady. The air conditioner works well, basic basic needs. If you don’t mind bare minimum. They call them FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS 😆😆 DISLIKES…. The back and forth traffic all night long on a little middle of nowhere type neighborhood. ODD. The constant barking of the neighbors dog, every hour of the entire night. Roaches and small ants in eating areas, sorry but that was my main issue. The owner DID go out and buy traps and...
