”My wife and I came to stay for a quiet getaway on the frozen bay, and it turned out to be just perfect for that. We read books and ate pizza from The Log Cabin and watched early 2000s movie dvds on the TV upstairs. The two electric fireplaces inside were running on full the whole time we were out there, but they managed to stave off the cold! ”We wanted a white Christmas this year and chose Viola's Place for our holiday. Boy are we glad we did! Shelly and Derek are the most gracious and helpful hosts! From Derek shoveling snow in the early morning hours, to Shelly's recommendations for restaurants and church services, they helped make our Christmas absolutely magical! Viola's Place was clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and beautifully decorated for the holidays. My 16-year-old daughter especially loved the air hockey...

”A church staff planning retreat for our Christmas events for next year. It was the perfect place and everything we needed. Love also the animals and while it was bitter cold and snowing all week not just the view was incredible but the animals were still all around the property.
