”Wonderful pool in a relaxing environment, nice clean rooms with proper showers, decently priced services and excellent driver for the temple tours. No air con at the gym, and the gym is still work in progress, lacking free weights and even toilet paper, so don't expect to work out much until it's completed. Simple breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay here and were disappointed to leave! The property was well maintained and safe, the rooms were very clean, spacious, and well decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable! Although it's a bit out of the downtown core we always found a tuk tuk immediately and it was just a $3 ride to downtown. The staff was always helpful when needed. I would go back in a heartbeat! ”

”I tried to contact the host multiple times but received no response. On the day and time of check-in, I discovered that the property had been closed for a long time. As a result, my group had to find alternative accommodations. Thanks to the excellent support from the VRBO team, I was able to secure a refund. However, I believe this listing should be removed, and I hope VRBO has a process in place to prevent such listings from appearing in the future.”

”We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. ”

”My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our stay at La Residence Blanc. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We liked that this hotel was owned by a Cambodian family and it's clear their focus is on their guests. The facilities were also beautiful - from the relaxing pool in the center of the property to the spacious rooms with comfy beds and a lovely shower and bath. The rooms were simple but we both felt like it was a treat to stay in...

"Hotelli loistavalla paikalla, henkilökunta todella ystävällistä, huone oli ihan asiallinen ja riittävä - siisti. Ympärsitö, allas-alue todella kaunis. Aamupala hyvä, palvelu luksusluokkaa. Hinta-laatusuhde hyvä. Huoneen iso plussa oli suora yhteys pihalle, oma patio."

Hyvät palvelut hotellissa

"Suosittelen hotellin järjestämää kyytiä uudelta lentokentältä hotelliin. Hinta 35USD ja kesto noin 1 tunti. Jo sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä tarjottiin matkoja Angor Watiin. Otetiin lyhyt kierto (joka sekin on 33km!), auto kuskeineen koko päiväksi 42USD. Oppaan olisi saanut lisämaksusta. Autossa sai kylmää juotavaa ja pyyhkeitä. Aamupala tien toisella puolella saman firman residence rakennuksessa. Molempien hotellin aulassa muutamia rappusia, joka vaikeuttavat matkalaukun liikuttelua. Huone tilava, aavistuksen kulunut. Huone oli ERITTÄIN voimakkaasti hajustettu (pistorasiassa kiinnioleva hajustin). Otin sen heti pois ja laitoin tiiviisti muovipussiin. Seuraavana päivänä siivoojat olivat laittaneet sen takaisin toimintaa. Tämän jälkeen siirsin sen parvekkeelle, josta sitä ei enää tuotu sisään, onneksi. Sijainti oli hyvä. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä oli paljon ruokapaikkoja, torikojut, buddhalainen temppeli, kuninkaan kesäasunto ja pub street. Melu ei kuitenkaan kuulut tänne häiritsevästi. Kannattaa hankkia e-visa netistä (36USD) etukäteen, niin selviää vähemmällä jonotuksella lentokentällä. US dollareilla pärjäsi kaikkialla. "
