”Perfect example of a true maine experience! The house and yard are beautiful and in a really nice quiet neighborhood. ”Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! Check in and out process was seamless and everything was accurately represented! Would certainly highly recommend!!”

”Beautiful spot on the lake, very private. Stayed with family to view the solar eclipse and it was perfect. Plenty of room - and fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc.) and bathroom to make it easy to just arrive (best to arrive with groceries though - it takes awhile to get back to any shops!). Bald eagles (and a golden eagle sighting) were quite a bonus.”

”Really well stocked house right on the lake (and dog friendly!). Neighbors weren’t too close and the fishing was A+. If it wasn’t already booked I’d try to grab another weekend this summer - two nights wasn’t enough!”

”This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!”

”We loved our stay at the lake! The house was wonderful and had everything we needed to make our stay terrific. The location was great. We wanted a location where we could make short day trips to see the sights around Bangor and Acadia NP, while still enjoying days where we could just hang out at the lake. The property was beautiful with all the wildflowers in bloom. It was a perfect vacation spot for our family. We will definitely try to stay again if we make it back out that way in the future.”

”My husband and I loved the lake house. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the chipmunks play, the loons and the Bald Eagle that landing on the tree in front of us. My husband took out the kayak to explore the pond. The place was clean and everything it described in the posting. When I did have a question Ben answered right away. I would definitely stay there again. Also, loved watching the sunrise over the water.”

”The cabin was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bedding was very comfortable and seemed like new. The couches were very comfortable and arranged to get nice views of the lake. The kitchen had a nice selection of clean pots and pans and dishes. The grill was clean and had plenty of propane to use. The canoe and kayaks were fun to use and the life jackets were ready available and plenty of them. The fire pit had plenty of firewood provided and the s’mores material provided by the property...
