”Stained carpet and crazy neighbors being loud until 1am. They give you ear plugs for “city noise” but there isn’t any city noise. People staying were screaming at each other and running through the hallways, on one occasion I smelled cigarette smoke… there’s no one to speak to, no phone in the room that you can pick up. I loved the r&b that was playing each time that I came into the lobby area. All of the decor is modern. The moment I stepped into the suite, I was blown away by the layout from the price. The only issues were minor 1. original door code didn't work - but got a new one via chat on my phone in minutes 2. ductwork made a loud noise when the heat went on and off - but i got used to it after the first night Staff was WONDERFUL - great concierge staff, online support excellent, service staff excellent. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Philadelphia.”

”It was nice having an apartment to move around in, rather than just a hotel room. Good closet space. I didn't use the kitchen except a couple of dishes for food brought in. The bed was comfortable. I didn't like the shower. The showerhead was not good. And the apartment was noisy because the bedroom backed the train tracks which were one block away. There was an empty lot right behind us so there was little to block the noise. ”

”The Haines Shoe House is am incredible experience for all ages. Our family group age range was 5-70. We all enjoyed our stay. Lots of things to do in the area. House was meticulously maintained and furnished. Campfire under the stars and hot tub great addition to our stay. ”

”I love this place! Location of apartment was perfect for me, shops, restaurants, bars within walking distance. Very clean and very comfortable. There’s free parking with a short walk. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend staying when visiting south Pittsburgh. ”

”only reason this is lower is because i was a single female traveler. parking at night more then 3 blocks from the hotel is not safe for single females in philly. Also had issues with the only parking garage and parking spot hero trying (this is not the fault of expedia or the hotel!) just makes it frustrating trying to find parking not limited to 1hr on the street”

”This is a mixed review. On the whole,we were content. The property met our basi needs, checkin and check-out were easy. The loft was spacious and the unit has the basic unit amenities. There is also a large club space with a pool table and ping pong, and a well appointed gym. On the other hand, while the building annoints itself as a luxury complex, our unit was rather ordinary. Furniture is older and on the cheap side, the shower pressure in the upper bathroom was weak, the exhaust vents...

”Great place to stay. Description as is! 15 min from Jim Thorpe area with lots to do but also a few great restaurants near when wanting to avoid crowds! Wish we had more time to enjoy outdoor area at house. Hot tub great! ”

Great location

"A very good hotel in central location. Great front desk service. Beds were a bit too soft for my taste but that’s basically the only downside, everything else was close to perfect. Within walking distance from everything! Recommend!"
