”We loved staying here, the staff were exceptional and very accommodating. The room was very clean (and cleaned every day) and breakfast very good. The view from the hotel was amazing, beautiful sunsets! Awesome pool area too. Thank you, we’ll definitely come back if we ever return to Kefalonia!”

”Der Blick ist grandios und entschädigt für vieles. Allerdings ist die Bezahlung bei Ankunft extrem gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr negativ ist die Warmwasseraufbereitung mittels Ölheizung zu nennen. Diese läuft ununterbrochen und stinkt auf dem Balkon penetrant nach Diesel, als ob man neben einem LKW sitzt. Auf Nachfrage wurde von der Rezeption abgewiegelt und auf vorbeifahrende Lastautos verwiesen. Erst meine Eigeninitiative brachte Linderung.”

Nikos, the owner, is so kind and helpful. He communicated before we arrived, was there to greet us and show us around, and helped with a few things during our stay like lending us a beach umbrella and providing recommendations for the island. The room we rented was actually an apartment and so clean...

”We only stayed here one nigth to break our stay before traveling to the other side of Kefalonia. It was perfect, just what we were looking for. Rooms are very nice, the place is cool looking, the staff very friendly and the restaurant was very good. The view was relaxing as well. Also there were a few charming little restaurants close by. ”

”The modernization of this old property is incredible. It still keeps all of its charm without being too flashy. Welcome gifts waited in the room for me with handwritten notes. Walk to town in 2-3 minutes. Could not recommend more.”

”In a quiet place, despite the main road being just 5 metres away. Limited cooking facilities but clean and tidy and only 5 minutes from a decent choice of restaurants. Lovely swimming pool, all in all good value, but would have preferred a 1st floor apartment with balcony.”

”Villa Liladi is a simply wonderful villa. My wife and I had a two-week holiday based there and can unreservedly recommend it. Its location is perfect, affording peaceful and stunning views from its terrace of the seas separating Kephalonia from the smaller island of Ithica and the Greek mainland. It is also just some 4 km from the lovely, busy harbour (‘Yachty’ ) town of Fiskardo and just 3 km from the heavenly uncrowded beach at Foki Bay and others near-by. ”Pleased with the apartment but arriving after dark found the absence of proper entry instructions very frustrating. The complex was named Meliti which had not been mentioned at all and there was no mention/signs of Jacaranda. Mercifully we had grandchildren with us and they were able to explore [which we couldn't have done] and they eventually located the apartment. We had been advised that we didn't need a car and that there were shops within walking distance. The 2 mini markets were shut for...

”We had a great time and Michalis, who manages the property, was superb. Only issues were a wasp nest on the property (which Michalis tried to control) and some missing fixtures in the bathrooms (everything still worked though). The property is surrounded by nature, so there was a fair bit of mosquitos at night. Beautiful location and stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

”Clio was great at communicating and providing local information. The cottage was everything we had hoped for. The patios were fantastic for relaxing and enjoying peaceful scenery. ”

Amazing, luxurious experience

"We had incredibly lovely and luxurious time at Canale Hotel & Suites during our trip to Kefalonia The customer service was impeccable: everyone was from start to finish very friendly and professional. Our stay started with a surprise: room upgrade and complimentary sparkling wine. The room itself was lovely: spacious, stylish, clean and seemed to be brand new. Bed was comfy and the room had a beatiful sea view. And most importantly: there was AC and the rooms were really quiet. The hotel is on a quiet seaside, but still within walking distance to Argostoli's town square. We had breakfast delivered to our balcony every morning and the options were plentiful and tasty We were really happy with our stay and the overall experience and we hope to come back one day. If you are looking to pamper yourself, this is the perfect place for it"
