”We were there less than 24 hours on a college tour road trip, but we appreciated the proximity to UGA and the ease of getting around the area. There was plenty of room for the four of us and had everything we needed. It is a very quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed all of the Georgia memorabilia, even though I bleed Purple and Gold! Geaux Tigers!”

”The stay was great. The location was amazing as it is literally across the street from campus and right by the restaurants and bars downtown. I was worried that it might be loud at night but it wasn’t that bad. Would definitely stay again. It’s a little pricey but worth it for such a close, convenient location. ”

”Overall the stay was very nice. There was a small issue with the A/C which the host discovered (from remote NEST access) and the repair was done the next morning already - Thank you! The initial notification with the check-in information did not get through (I wonder if that's an issue with VRBO, because that happened the second time to us) The location is not the nicest area of Athens (that would likely be south of the city center), but it close to the center. Thanks a lot!”

”We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities because we kept busy with graduation activities on campus, but the inside definitely met our needs. Mark and Regina have taken care to think of everything you might need on your stay away from home. They are friendly hosts who are responsive thru the entire process. It was an easy drive on to campus and downtown. Highly recommend for your family's place to stay in Athens!”

”The living room is lovely. Kitchen very well equipped Need a light in dining room. Porch needed pressure washing. Very beautiful out there. We’re all over 80. Wanted to visit and play games. A little trouble getting in and out. Not bad. Needed to know about downstairs bedroom. Very difficult. Bed leaves much to be desired downstairs. Upstairs fine. Lovely all in all. Close to everything. ”Overall the house was clean nice but was disappointed about the miscommunication of a four bedroom that was really a three bedroom where one of our guests had no privacy when people walked up and down the stairs trying to sleep. Had a hard time getting checked in got in from a long eight and a half hour drive and couldn't find my paperwork that I submitted but found my ID finally took 20 minutes to get into the house needing to use the restroom very badly person in the office so I spoke with it...

”Boy was I surprised! Remodeled cottage with nice furnishings and great location. Well stocked kitchen (although I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it except for a cup of tea!). House has a lot of history and new owner definitely put a lot of thought into the remodel. Highly recommend. If back in Athens, I will stay here again.”
