”We stayed at the Rustic Rook due to the proximity to Great Sand Dunes NP. It was extremely quiet, as it was during the week just after labor day -- only one other tent was occupied, which made it relaxing but also a little scary! We stopped in Alamosa for some easy dinner options, but the other couple staying at the time took advantage of the resorts option to have dinner items to grill. It was VERY windy and it rained off an on but the tents stayed dry inside and warm with the wood-burning...

”We enjoyed our stay in the RV, the host was attentive and it came equipped with everything we needed. My only complaint would be the location of the bed in the bedroom, it’s a full and up against the wall, I get claustrophobic so sleeping on that side of the bed was difficult for me since my partner gets up at night. Other than that we had a good time!”

”The property was clean, well-appointed, and easy to use/access. The only thing I can say is that the laundry capabilities involve the building behind this property and are coin operated, for which I was not prepared. Everything else was great!”

”The property is at a great location very close to the dunes, about 15 min drive. You can literally see it from your backyard. The property is exactly as listed and its very quiet if you're looking for the peace. The open space around is the best. My pup thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a little hiccuo during the first night but the host addressed it very quicklu.wr love the place and will return when we go back to the dunes.”

”We were tired after a long travel day, entered the home to discover the home smells of dog urine and the kitchen having mouse poop on the counter, Also discovered mouse poop by the sliding glass door and fireplace. I wouldn’t return to this home. ”

”Great view of the San Luis Valley and San Juan Mountains. The main view from the dining room is spectacular! We played games at the table and would stop to discuss the view and watch the sunset. Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We drove to the Colorado Gator Farm and were not Disappointed. Rescue reptiles in Colorado so cool! We would defiantly stay...

”The price is very reasonable for a location that can fit up to 8 people. The geodome is very special, although it is cold in Dec. The two-floor house itself is great. Especially there are big windows and a deck on the second floor, which is great for people to enjoy their coffee and watch the beautiful sunset and mountains. The property itself is very clean. Supplies are all there. It is also convenient for us to drive just less than 15 min to reach a grocery store to purchase food and snacks....

”We had a delightful stay at this super unique property. The hosts are phenomenal. Lovely people and amazing communicators, they made us feel welcome and helped us through the whole stay. If you like horses and the outdoors this really is the place to go. ”

”Great place to stay absolutely beautiful cabin with great views and entertainment options! I recommend this for anyone trying to get away and just hide out. Or you can visit one of my favorite nearby sites- Zapata falls! Near the sand dune national park!”
