”After a long drive felt like the perfect spot to stay the night. Rooma were very spacious and you could park your car in front of your room, thia was very convenient for us as we had a lot of stuff. Manages to have the pool area all to ourselves which was nice! Only negative things were that that we had to ask twice for the pool door to be opened when it was supposed to be open already. Plus not enough hot water in the bathroom. However, overall stay was very nice! Would recommend it!”

”The stay was very relaxing, the room is spacious and clean. The only minus was the room we've got is facing a path while sitting out the balcony made it a little awkward. Overall, nice and good stay. Highly recommended.”

”Very good restaurant with excellent service staff, excellent meal too. Very nice property with pool. Rooms are dated though and in need of new paint. Staff at front desk were very nice and helpful. It was nice you could rent bikes from the hotel to travel around town. Overall good value for the money. ”

”Stayed at McLaren Vale for two nights and can recommend to everyone looking for a peaceful place to stay. Rooms where big and clean and they had everything we needed for a family of five. Nice rooms, friendly staff, wifi and laundry possibility made our stay worth the money.”

”Was dubious after reading other reviews. For the price of the room we were pleasantly surprised and would stay there again. I would give it a three star rating out of five. Obviously the rooms could be improved but we were quite comfortable. ”

”This place was significantly better than expected. We were passing by and just needed a place to crash for one night, so we booked a cheap motel. Really happy we chose Blue Lake Motel. It's a stone's throw off the main road, which probably makes a world of difference -- we drove past a ton of motels which looked like they would be really noise since the rooms were like 10 meters off the street. ”Great sized family room. Even though it is on the highway, we couldn't hear the noise of trucks and cars. Parking was a little difficult to get in and our as the room next to us had a trailer connected to their car so were sticking out and a car parked opposite, made it tricky for me to get my car out.”
