Welcome to The Cottages at Oxford Springs Farm. Enjoy a quiet stay in this newly remodeled cottage. Views from every window capture the beauty of the bluegrass on this small working thoroughbred farm. Memorable sunrise and sunsets are guaranteed! Conveniently located only 10 miles from the Ky Horse Park, 5 miles from the quaint historic town of Georgetown and 30 minutes from some of Kentucky's greatest bourbon distillery's. For Wildcat fans, Rupp Arena is only 15 miles away.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The cottage was as described. It was cozy and comfortable. The owner lives on the property and couldn’t have been more friendly and kind. It was reassuring to know that if we needed anything or encountered any issues (there were none), he was right there. The location was truly picturesque and peaceful. Interacting with the horses made our stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend this property!

Relaxing

Even though our stay didn't go as planned because it stormed all weekend, my husband and I still got to get away and relax. This place was adorable, very clean, and peaceful. We even got to see some horses! I didn't think we were going to get to because of the rain. I recommend staying here!

Dreamy in horse country

A well appointed studio set up with everything you need, including the most comfortable bed, EVER. Great shower, great amenities. Lookout side bright and early to see the horses grazing and the sun come up over the farm. Glorious!

Beautiful cottage

Loved the cottage, super clean and fresh, very nicely updated, very classy. My only disappointment was that it was portayed (in my opinion) as if it was the only cottage there. There is one in close proximity behind the unit and it appears that there is one above the unit that we stayed in. I would not have booked if I had realized this. All that having been said, I'm glad that we stayed there. It was a very nice place to spend a few days - you won't find a cleaner VRBO or nicer setting.

Peaceful perfection

After 48 hours touring Nashville, we were so happy to enjoy the quiet solitude of this KY horse farm. The interior was even more beautiful than the pictures! Luxurious and cozy! We enjoyed a nice stroll on the grounds and one of the horses came to greet us. Thanks for letting us stay!

Picture Postcard Retreat

My husband & I were looking for some R & R and this was the perfect place to unwind. The rocking chairs on the porch overlook pasture land, where two horses meander behind a wooden fence. Georgetown was near enough for good meals, which our host Jim, pointed us to some local favorites. We found plenty to do in the area to keep ourselves amused, and then come back to this well appointed cozy spot and refuel. This is one of two cottages on the property, this one having two levels. We stayed on the lower floor, and had the place to ourselves until the last night. There is also a single unit cottage next door. Jim was very attentive and responsive to any requests, and the cold water bottles and snacks upon arrival were very much appreciated. We highly recommend this stay!

Celebrated Wife's retirement

I surprised my wife by taking her to Kentucky for her retirement gift. She's into horses so Lexington was a no brainer destination. We had a great time. The cottage was perfect. The location was lovely and very relaxing. My wife loved it! If we get to Lexington again, we will stay here again!

Excellent property in beautiful, safe location

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location is fantastic; it is outside if town, with rural appeal, but just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Its a sweet cottage that has everything you need and is wonderfully furnished and decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. They thoughtfully provided little extras, such as bottled water, ice, and snacks, that allowed us to feel like we were truly valued guests at their property. We also loved watching the horses play in the pasture, just off of the yard. It was a relaxing and excellent experience. Thank you for your hospitality, Jim!
