”Best apartment in the area! Stunning views surrounded by amazing waterfalls, breathtaking mountains and gorgeous goats. Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight”

”The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. ”The location was good but not user friendly for family stay. As mentionned kitchen, bathroom and toilet are seperate. But since the key needs to be collected in a hotel nearby, we changed to hotel and paid tje difference which is a nice gesture by the staff.”

”Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! ”

”We went to Jungfraojoch for the day and stayed overnight. The apartment was clean with good amenities. Also the benefit of a store downstairs and plenty of things within walking distance. Check in was easy and the underground parking secure. Guy was very helpful in communication with all our needs.”

”The house was spotless, very roomy, modern, well equipped. The linens were high quality. The bed was comfier than my bed at home. Excellent location - 5 min from train station and co-op. Co-op has a great selection of premade foods, produce, beer, wine & a great cafeteria. Host was very responsive. Did not rent a car and so glad we didn’t. We will be back soon.”

”From booking to arriving and then leaving the process was very easy. The chalet itself is stunning, photos I saw prior to arriving did not do the property justice. This is without a doubt the best property we have booked in Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen is stunning and has numerous restaurants and shops. Parking in town can be difficult, but there is a path across from the chalet that is a lovely cycle into town. I will book this again next year. ”

”Racer’s retreat was an excellent property. Very clean, with updated bathrooms and all the kitchen supplies you need (including multiple fondue pots). Check in and out was easy. The property is a bit of a walk from town. However, we enjoyed it every morning and evening, as it provides seclusion and the scenery is beautiful. We would definitely stay at the property again. ”

”The property is really nice and it is very spacious for the town it's located in. Comparable hotel rooms are much smaller. The maintenance support was great. We had no hot water for a few hours and when notified, the maintenance crew showed up immediately to fix the issue. The instructions could have been better though. The trash cans are locked and need a key. ”

”We stayed at Chalet Sulegg in January 2025 for a skiing holiday. As a family of five adults the apartment was more than big enough for all of us. The apartment was clean and adequately stocked. The directions to the chalet good be improved by using what3words as it is not completely clear when you haven’t been to Wengen before.
