”We had the best time from the moment we arrived to the day we left, the cottage is so adorable and clean and over looking Lake Barkley was beautiful and very tranquil. Filled with all Gods beauty. ”When we arrived the surrounding housing in the circle was not appealing but the houses on each side of the property were very nice! Lisa had delicious brownies and a Happy Anniversary card waiting for us on the bar! The house was perfect for 2 people. Decorated very well and very clean. Quiet! Saw lots of deer, raccoons and other wildlife. Large deck with very nice seating and view of the creek. Fishing did not produce a bite. Saw turtles and ducks. Bring bug spray for the evening outdoors.”

”Loved the cabin and the property, the koi pond was definitely a group favorite. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the owners were very quick to respond! I will say this is probably not a place for large groups the kitchen was very small, gorgeous, but only built for a few people. ”

”Enjoyed our time at Kings Creek. Seasonal campground with cabin rentals. Cabins are all mostly waterfront and adjacent to the marina and office. Pontoon and fishing boat rentals are within steps of the cabins. Kayaks avail at no charge and my kids loved paddling around the bay. Cabin was clean and had all the basic necessities, walmart within 20 min so we put an olive order in for pick up and had everything we needed for the week. Jim the owner is very nice and accommodating. We’d certainly stay...

”Very comfortable accommodations right on the lake. Amazing views. Nice, rocky shoreline is accessible by foot and fun to explore, but not ideal for swimming or launching kayak -- no worries, a couple very good kayaking locations just up the road. We had an outstanding visit and wished we'd had another day or two to enjoy the area.”
