”We booked this based on the good reviews, but unfortunately I can’t understand those. The hotel lobby and gym were nice and clean and breakfast was good. Our room was outdated, our window faced a wall and other rooms’ windows. The bed was very uncomfortable and squeky. We only had one big blanket and when we asked for another one, they did not bring sheets. I then went and asked for sheets and they gave me one (which was not enough for the blanket) and then the next day the cleaner took it away....

”Nice and clean old hotel by the lake. Wonderful location close to the train station and the ferry port. There’s a construction site in front of the hotel but it did not bother us much. Great breakfast, delicious plums!”

”Upgraded room, larger than most in Como. Easy walk from the train station and the ferry. Air-conditioning was on in April, which was a plus. In room refrigerator and minibar. Plenty of storage and nice bathrooms. Breakfast had a lot of choices including omelets made to order. Great neighborhood. ”
