”What an interesting place to stay in SF. The owner and assistant were so much fun, interesting and helpful. In a location in mid-south ish part of the city close to everything we wanted to do. We will recommend this spot to anyone that wants a bed and breakfast and/or something with tremendous history, nice room and bathroom with everything you could need. ”

”It’s not swanky, but it’s clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and timely when we needed things for our one year old (like a tub stopper for the tub and a crib). Plus! Front desk had cookies at night and it’s across the street from mini golf. Affordable and cozy. ”

”Very clean and new hotel building. Rooms are tight but clean and have fridge and microwave oven. Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...

”Nice modern, compact room, felt bigger because of the high ceilings which was nice. Very comfortable bed. Quiet area. I would stay again. A couple of things like a gap under the door letting in the cold unless you blocked it with something. Shower door didn’t stay closed just kept sliding open, bathroom door didn’t close properly either. Minor issues and easily fixed. ”

”Big room, great bed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Easy to park and move around, close to freeway. Neighborhood felt safe. The only downside was shower water, which was cold, but I'm not sure if the problem was only in our room since we never mentioned it to front desk. Overall great for the price. ”

”I have stayed here twice now and absolutely love the location and the double king rooms they offer, very spacious! There was no parking available in the onsite lot but was understandable due to checking in late in the night.
