Beautiful and cozy Banburee
We stayed for 20 nights in june. The garden and the pool area were really beautyfull and well maintained. We had a seaview villa and we were lucky enough to get the one right by the pool. The villa was a classic oriental style, the kind that you see a lot in Thailand. All in all the villa was nice, the bedroom looked good and was comfy but the bathroom could use some improvement. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure our every need was met. Especially Gerwin the Restaurant manager was a true professional who took good care of the customers and offered excelent travel tips. And Kid the F and b manager from the Restaurant was always very friendly and talkative and always had a big smile on his face. We would also like to mention Gemwil at the lobby who gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful with the motorbike. Renting a motorbike is a must because the nearest restaurants and shops are a bit too far to reach on foot. There is also a shuttle bus to Lamai Beach (Sand sea resort) a couple of times a day. The surrounding area is made up of beautiful country side and tropical forests. The beach is shallow and unswimmable - mostly low tide. About a kilometer up the main road (not ringroad) toward Lamai there's a beautiful View point restauran with a breath taking view of the country side and the surrounding hills. We loved staying at Banburee and would stay again.
