”Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness.”

”Lovely cottage with relaxing ambiance, decorated to high standard with great outdoor space. Secluded & 5 mins walk to lovely beach. Also 5mins walk to nice wee pub/restaurant serving good food. Would recommend & will definitely be back.”

”Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

”Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...

”This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. ”

”for us it was a relaxing environment in a very busy week. Our participation in the Royal Deeside golf week could not be better than from this beautiful house. in the house everything is present and clean. The access road to the house can be a problem for low cars, in our case it resulted in a flat tire due to the loose stones.”

”We had already expected a lot from the advertisement. But seeing the house was overwhelming. We spent an unforgettable week as a group of seven friends in a luxurious house in a beautiful setting.the only regret was that we were not able to take full advantage of the many facilities offered by the estate, such as the walled garden.”

”Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Cottage. Da das Cottage sehr ländlich und ruhig gelegen ist, muss man sich darüber bewusst sein, dass man zu der ein oder anderen Sehenswürdigkeit ein Stück weiter fahren muss. Dafür kann man jedoch einen Urlaub inabsoluter Ruhe genießen. Die Gastgeber waren großartig und wir haben uns sehr üner das Willkommenspräsent gefreut. Alles in Allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub.”

”Had a fabulous few days at the cottage in Braemar. The gardens of the cottage are lovely and were great when our grand children came to visit. Also good for our little dog, who could access all the grounds without the fear of him getting out. The views are also beautiful! ”

”Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative. Most everything you could need is in Ballater, a couple of miles away, including a grocery, petrol station, health center, and a number of restaurants and pubs. ”Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”
