”I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. ”What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beautiful, quiet setting near Stirling. We explored the jail and the castle. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area.”

”Cottage was home from home, spotless and had everything we needed. Fiona and David were very welcoming and gave us ideas where to visit. The outdoor seating area by the water was idyllic. ”The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!”

”We comprised a group of 6 adults and 3 young children and this house was ideal. It has lots of space, big common areas and a fabulous kitchen for cooking in. The children loved the fact that there are two staircases! The bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable with nice bedding. There are plenty of bathrooms too. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished.Our vacation was in February 2025 so not great weather but that didn't spoil our trip; there are plenty of nearby activities. ...

”Everything was really nice and smooth. The staff was really helpfull and the location was really good bunch of restaurants and bars as well as close to the central Station. The only thing to mention negatively was the flooring was made of wood so the noise’s from the upper floor come through, so depending the neighbor it could be noisy. ”
