The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!”

”We had a wonderful stay in the cottage over May bank holiday. The cottage was perfect and very spacious. The garden was beautiful, with the stream at the bottom as a added bonus. Jane was so helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal to explore the local area. We would definitely stay in the cottage again!”

”This is an amazing place to stay. The Coachhouse is enormous as are its rooms and common areas. It's tucked away on an old estate and it was a little difficult to tell if we were in the right place. We had to confirm where to go and get some help from Liz on how to get in. But once we were there, it was an incredibly beautiful place to stay. There are so many great things we could say about it. Took the train to Edinburgh (not a lot of parking at the station). Drove to the ferry to Isle of Arran (take your car if you can). This cottage is in a great location for touring the Edinburgh/Glasgow area.”
