Vaunutalon talli

Tilalle tullessasi tilan kauneus vie sinut heti. Kun kerran Englannin neljänneksen hevoset olivat talossa, löydät ylellisen yhden makuuhuoneen asunnon, jossa on kokkekeittiö, makuuhuone queen-size-vuoteella, tilava olohuone, jossa on alkuperäiset lankkulattiat ja kirjastogalleria. Klassinen nahkasohva ja kalusteet lisäävät tilan viehätysvoimaa., siellä on uskomaton ruokasali, jossa alkuperäinen massiivinen työpöytä on suunniteltu kauniisti uudelleen hienoksi ruokailuun. Vanha ruokasali on nyt koskematon valkoinen kaakeloitu kylpyhuone, jossa iso istu suihku ja hienot valkoiset pyyhkeet. Ratsastusteema on kaikkialla.
Alkuperäiset wainscotted-seinät palautettiin kärsivällisesti alkuperäiseen rikkaaseen ruskeaan väriinsä, ja ranskalaiset ovet ja navettaikkunat tuovat luonnollista valoa. Huoneet ovat loistavasti valaistuja myös iltaan.
Vuonna 1931 rakennetut vaunutalon tallit olivat osa suurta englantilaista tudor-kartanoa. Kiinteistön päärakennus on aarre. Rakentamisen jälkeen oli kolme omistajaa, edellinen omistai kiinteistön yli neljäkymmentä vuotta. Vuosien kuluessa se menetti rappeutumisensa ja oli surullisessa tilassa, kun nykyiset omistajat, enkeli ja tony tulivat mukanaan. Nyt täysin kunnostettu entiseen loistoonsa, jotkut sanovat jopa paremmin kuin koskaan, löydät rauhallisen yksityisen ympäristön, joka on verraton mihinkään ympäröivään alueeseen.
Ota aikaa rentoutua kivi terassilla, joka on sisustettu kauniilla puutarhapöydällä ja tuoleilla, ja nauttia puutarhasta ja näkymistä. Ehkä ulkosalla illallinen lasillisella viiniä.

For all horse lovers!
Just stayed at the carriage house for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the whole ambiance of English riding and actually getting to eat and sleep in what originally were box stalls! Negatives were the cottage was so dark inside, had to turn on every light to be able to read, the toilet area is very small for us oversized guests although the shower is roomy, and despite being very clean for us, the house itself could use a real deep clean. I would absolutely recommend this incredible place especially if you’re nostalgic for riding. The host is wonderful, the main house and grounds are beautiful and it’s a once in a lifetime experience you shouldn’t miss. Thank you Angelo!

Beyond Wonderful
This converted stable is stunning. The quality and aesthetics are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Every detail is perfection from the decor to the beautiful wood and cork floors and to the incredibly well-stocked kitchen and clean and comfy bed. Despite its rare and unique beauty and high-quality furnishings, I felt totally comfortable and didn't worry I would ruin anything since everything is so well made and sturdy. The redesign of the stable is genius, and I especially loved the screened porch, especially during a terrific downpour while I was there. I felt a little like Katherine Hepburn in "Philadelphia Story" during my stay...it's just that great! Super clean, Angelo was a sweetheart who answered my many questions about the amazing carriage house. The grounds are lovely as well. Quiet and a wonderful place for me to rest and work. It broke my heart to leave that sanctuary. I have stayed in vrbo and airbnb places all over the country and in Europe and this by far exceeds them all. Sublime!

Great Getaway!

Lovely, unique home
This is a unique property which offers every detail for a comfortable stay. Checking in was easy. Angelo, the owner, had left some cookies and a bottle of wine, which was a thoughtful touch. While we didn’t have time to cook, the kitchen looked well equipped. The radio is tuned to a good station (Woodstock radio) and the bed was comfortable. I would happily stay here again.

Beautiful!
This place was perfect for a relaxing weekend out of the city. I recommend bringing a bunch of wine, groceries (there's a store nearby), a puzzle, and never leaving. The attention to detail through out the home is so amazing that you really won't want to leave! Angelo was great too :)

Great place for a couple's getaway weekend
We stayed at the Stables for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It's a charming apartment that is well-decorated and well-maintained. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the shower is roomy (even if the bathroom is a bit small), and everything works! The setting is quite special -- you feel like you are out in the country but in actuality you are five minutes from the Kingston Uptown neighborhood which has a variety of restaurants and bars, as well as the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Angelo and Tony are wonderful hosts -- they met us with a bottle of Prosecco and two bubble glasses, and were happy to answer our questions and give us advice on what to see and where to go. It's easy to understand why they have repeat visitors, and we will be back too!
