”Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe . The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors. We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location.”

Itse rakennus on kiehtovan muotoinen, joka tekee siitä erilaisen moniin "laatikkohotelleihin" verrattuna. Alueella kauniita, vanhoja rakennuksia. Hotelli suositteli lähistöllä olevaa isoa pubia, josta sai kunnollisen päivällisen. ”

”Very good stay, if you have a car. Without a car, no chance. Oxford city around 20min away. Clean, quite big room. Okay bed. Nothing special, but everyrhing worked. No restaurant. Breakfast was poor. No fridge. ”

”Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday.”

”I booked this hotel through Expedia because of the good summarized reviews, but it was a disaster. When we arrived, there was no welcome from the staff, and they were incredibly rude. To make things worse, the elevator was not working properly, so we had to carry all our heavy bags up the stairs ourselves. The room was also very dirty. I will never stay here again.”

”The room was dirty and the furniture was very worn and tatty. I checked in at 9 pm and the hotel was clearly pretty empty. Breakfast was very small and expensive. My son went golfing in the morning, but despite this very rude front desk staff member kicked me out of my room at 11am wanting to 50 GBP to stay another couple of hours. There were silverfish bugs in the bathroom. If you are used to higher standards, avoid this hotel.”

”For a solo traveller, if you need a clean and safe place to stay overnight, this place is sufficient. Room is tiny and one person could barely turn around. Bathroom and ac will be the amenities provided. Checkout was 10am so I barely could sleep in, also I heard clearly and constantly that neighbours’ doors were closed. Parking is at the back and a short walk to Thames river and train station. Staffs were friendly. Anyway you paid for what you got.”
