I’m usually pretty satisfied and happy but service is big for me I can deal with most other things and not really care much. The service was a 1 of 10 and I mean that wholeheartedly. The staff had no idea what was going on, they had no recommendations, didn’t know where things were, what other options were available since most of their stuff was short staffed and over booked. No snacks or small shop at all in the resort you had to pay $40 for one or $80 for two people to get ti a market 20 min away. The cab drivers are slim pickings you have to scheduled at least 1 hour in advance or you’re stuck there pretty much. When we asked for cabs that weren’t with the hotel the front desk told us there wasn’t any which was a lie we found out the last day we stayed. We ate at the bar on the resort and I can’t make this up we ordered two apps and two meals crab cakes and fish bites than a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger… it took 1.5 hour for the apps but they came after the meals lol which took about an hour and 20 min. I asked the waitress 4 diff times and on the fourth try when I walked to the waitress table she asked me what we had and was typing it in right there so assuming she never put out orders in… we were there because we had a few drinks so time kind of kept passing a s she kept saying it would be a couple more minutes they had empty tables and about 5 waitresses so they were staffed for the little crowd. The next day we went (can’t even add all the staffing issues here.
