Iris on muunnettu navetta sijaitsee kauniissa perustein yksinäinen Hamlet Stancombe. Se sisältää korkealaatuista itsepalvelumajoitusta kaikki modernit apuohjelmia kuten wifi, pesukone, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni jne.

Stancombe sisältää erinomaiset vapaa-ajanviettomahdollisuudet, kuten lämmitetty uima-allas (6m x 13m), hiljattain remontoitu tenniskenttä, snooker huone täysikokoista pöytä, pelihuone, jossa pöytätennis, biljardi ja darts & ulkoilu lasten leikkialue - tai sitten voit vain kuljeskella kauniilla paikalla. Great place to stay.
We had a wonderful 4 days at Iris Cottage. Set in beautiful countryside, the accommodation was lovely and the facilities on site were perfect for our group. Swings and play room for youngest to tennis, snooker and golf for older ones. The swimming pool was used by all of us. Would definitely recommend for all ages. We are looking forward to visiting again

Lovely "Barn" and Location
Great place for the family, our 5-yr old loved the stairs and having his own bathroom! Nicely equipped kitchen, and room for the grandparents to visit. We even cooked, which we don't usually do on vacation! Enjoyed the games rooms and pool too. Only thing missing was a wood burning stove! Loved it, will definitely recommend it

Secluded hideawaya
The property is a mile or so from the nearest village and further from the main road. The makes it very quiet and peaceful with little light pollution giving great starry nights.The complex has lots to do including an indoor pool, tennis court, mini golf and some indoor activities. The cottage was well equipped, clean and tidy. It was cooler on the lower ground floor which is great for hot summer evenings and nights. The closest coast in ten minutes away and there are lots of nice walks and eateries. The host provides a comprehensive guide to the site and the local area.

Iris Cottage, Stancombe Manor
The cottage and surroundings suited us perfectly. We are grandparents and had our daughter and son-ìn-law and their 2 boys with us (aged 8 and 6). The cottage accommodation was fine for us and the surroundings great for the boys to play safely with some other children they met. They swam, played tennis, caught grasshoppers and frogs and had a great time. Lots of places to visit fairly locally - Kingsbridge (crabbing), Snape Point, Bantham and Bigbury beaches, Dartmouth (regatta, ferry trip to castle, more crabbing). Get lots of reversing practise in the narrow lanes!! Such a beautiful area, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you.

Fantastic stay at Iris Cottage. lovely location and great amenities at the manor. Communal rooms (game room/pool) at the manor a little tired but only to be expected and didn’t take away a thing from enjoying them. Cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for 4 of us and a small dog and the cottage well stocked with quality utensils and equipment. Julian was a pleasure to liaise with and ever so helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to stay there

Quiet surroundings and great facilities
Our second stay at Iris Cottage. Even though the weather wasn’t great there is always plenty to keep you entertained. We played tennis, golf, table tennis, pool and went swimming in the indoor pool. Easy check in, clean and tidy cottage which is fully equipped.

Our stay at Iris.
Property very well furnished. Not suitable for 6 people.!!We managed as our grandchildren are young and could use coffee table to eat at. 6 adults would find sitting at table very cramped. Facilities very good. We had no communication with propery manager, so ,not applicable.

Beautiful place, great facilities
Such a beautiful part of Devon with stunning scenery and beaches. We had a really lovely family holiday at the property. The property is basic but comfortable and the grounds and facilities were perfect for our family and small dog. Lots to do in what felt a really safe environment for children. The caretaker was so helpful and friendly too.

Not suitable for six people in lounge and kitchen.table too small for all to eat. No freezer certainly hard with small children.bedrooms downstairs damp and smell damp.site manager gave us dehumidifier which we emptied four to six litres per day. Hot and cold taps in upstairs bathroom shower put on the wrong taps and my husband nearly got scolded. Access to the property very difficult steps far too high without hand rails. Very hard for elderly to unload their luggage as the walk up is very steep. No phone working no mobile reception wondered what one would do in an emergency. Nowhere to store food in kitchen All taps on kitchen sink and bathroom extremely hard to turn on and off. All in all for what we paid this was a great disappointment

Stunning location
Beautiful little cottage in stunning surroundings. Amenities were fantastic - especially great for families. Most things were just a 10-20 minute drive away. Lots of beaches to choose from. Great communication with the owner, easy check in. Would definitely stay again.

Stunning and peaceful
Iris cottage had all that we could possibly wish for and the setting at Stancombe Manor was perfect for our family. Our three boys loved the games room and swimming pool. There’s so much to do in the South Hams, making it an ideal location.

Pleasant stay
The location of the property was great. The facilities on offer were good although the pool and the games room looked tired and needed some love and attention. The cottage was comfortable but it has not been cleaned as well as I would have liked. There was an old bottle of water under one of the beds downstairs and there were lots of cobwebs in the property. The kitchen sides were a little sticky and needed a clean. This was not the end of the world and I do like things to be clean so this may not bother other visitors. We enjoyed our stay and the kids had a good time.

Picturesque cottage situated about 10 minutes drive from all the amenities of Kingsbridge. Lovely pool and other activities. The owner and groundsman/caretaker couldn't have been more helpful. Everything in the property functioned well and was clean. All you need to bring is your own towels.

Great getaway
Ideal cottage for family and friends with lots to do in and around Stancombe Manor. Only downside is the narrow lanes to approach the property, however this is no different than many other cottages in the South Hams.

Not as advertised
The property was damp and uncleared upon arrival, the property had a musty smell throughout and was worse downstairs. The shower room was unusable as the tiles and seals where coming away from the wall. The location was nice but there are no facilities (shops and garages) within 5 miles and the neighbours are not very welcoming to visitors with dogs.

The property was in a super location away from all the towns but close if you need anything or to see crowds of people. Well equipped in every way. The neighbours for the week were the owners of next door daughter. She lent us a stair gate to stop the dog running downstairs to the bedrooms. Area was great for days out. We loved Salcombe north sands beach it was great. Would stay again.
