”A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

”Sent 3 messages to the host days before we where due to arrive re how to access the property, got no replies, had to phone booking agent VRBO on arrival as we couldn’t get inside & as there was no 4g signal we had to drive off again & find a signal, it seems tie host “forgot” to send details. overall we found the property adequate for 2 nights stay but wouldn’t have been happy to stay longer as beds although clean where extremely uncomfortable. Bathrooms def need attention. Upstairs living room...

”We had a lovely stay, the lodge is lovely and the standard of accommodation was very high. It was a lovely place to return to after a busy day exploring. The location of the lodge was more remote than expected but we soon got used to the rural location - the roads were narrow but luckily we had access to a good Sat Nav and always found our way about. We managed to see a lot of Northern Ireland and ventured down to Dublin for the day.”

”We had a great stay at Kerry’s cottage, very peaceful. The track up to the cottage is bumpy and uneven but it is a farm track, your car gets extremely dirty especially if it’s wet. The cottage is a wee haven, well dressed and cosy. The hot tub is fab….we didn’t use the sauna but it’s there. There us also an outside seating area but we were there end of September and weather didn’t allow sitting out. Kerry leaves a welcome pack including milk and eggs and cake….you have her phone number so can...

”It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay.”

”The size of this property is very deceptive from the outside but it has so much space. Lovely open plan kitchen/diner plus living room area and downstairs shower room plus utility. ”Enjoyable couple of days in Newcastle. Apartments are very central and pubs, restaurants within easy walking distance. Very comfortable and clean. There are stairs to all apartments and we got a parking space in the car park at the seafront which was a few minutes walk away. The living area was very spacious with cooking, dining and seating areas. The bed was a bit awkward to access as bedroom is narrow but it was very comfortable.
