”Entering the lobby from the refuse littered construction zone of a parking lot guests are greeted by the overwhelming smell of an old and dirty ashtray. The rooms were advertised and pictured as refurbished. Our two rooms on the 6th floor were dumps! Upon arrival I contacted Expedia about cancellation but the robot said I was too late! We have stayed at rustic hotels around the world but this is at the dregs of bottom tier and the downtown area seems to be in a death spiral in spite of some...

”First time I've ever experienced contactless arrival, or for entire stay, I kind of liked it. Very trusting toward people to only take aporopriate key, and drop off out in the open, as well but ok. Room adequate, comfortable, and cLean. No extras, but just what you'd expect in the charming tiny town Of Austin, NV.”

”It's the only large hotel in town. Good size rooms. Comfy bed. Bathroom was a little trashy. Could use some TLC. 3 stories and no elevator!
The breakfast was more "contenental" than hot prepared food. Packaged breakfast burritos and egg muffins available to microwave.”

”Parking was easy as there is no casino. This hotel desperately needs to be renovated. Room was big, bathroom was small, sheets were old. Coffee was good, "breakfast" was prepackaged muffins. I would look for other places in Ely before I would go back here. ”
