”I booked this hotel because Expedia advertised that there was a free shuttle and a restaurant on the property. I called the hotel about the shuttle and they sent a Lyft car for us, which was billed to us. When we got to the hotel we found that there was no restaurant and there hadn't been for a long time. Expedia, update your listing, this is false advertising!”

”Reserved and paid 2 months in advance. Arrive for check in and the parking lot was empty and there was a handwritten "closed for business" sign. Attempted to contact the property of course were unsuccessful. No notice, no refund. Further research showed the property was actually sold last year to the city and is no longer a hotel. Not sure why I was allowed to make a reservation in the 1st place.”

”Asilomar is in a wonderful location and charges a very reasonable amount to stay there. The staff seems friendly and very efficient. The bed and lighting and carpet were all terrific. But the sinks in our bathroom did not operate properly at all and are in desperate need of replacement — pretty surprising really, The slower operated ok but the tub itself is really old with stains and needs to be replaced. I know it’s all about the money but they desperately need to upgrade their facility...
