”How to get here from the airport Probably the fastest and the most convenient way to get here from the airport is taxi. The cost for one person and one piece of luggage was $19. If you are travelling on a budget you could take the bus. It will cost you $0.75 per bus, coins only! Go up to the second floor of the airport and there are two bus stops (Parada). ”I might say you get what you pay for. Normally I stay at Nomada Beach hostel, but since I was on a shoestring I went the budget route with Casa Santurce. It was a low key place but the bunk rooms are cramped, and their is no kitchen. For a few dollars more at Nomada you get a pool, a nice kitchen, much better showers, and many different sitting areas. I'd suggest that Casa Santurce make this more cooking friendly, and also provide a few more places to sit.”

”Had a hard time finding the property with google maps, as it’s kinda hidden with just a blank green door with a door bell camera. 10min walk from the beach and great restaurants and bars, overall very good, not disappointed, at night there is lots of honking and you can hear everything. You can even hear a conversation from the ground to the second floor where the rooms are.”

”Great hostel experience with location right on the beach. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal for watching sunrises, getting to el yunque, exploring Fajardo and quickly accessing the vieques ferry and escaping the hoards in OSJ. It is a hostel… so bathrooms are shared and noise is expected in communal areas but even when crowded this was minimal. Easy to walk to great restaurants (strongly suggest CFood in LaPared containers…a 10min walk) and home safely”
