”Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy, but plenty of options and tasty. Clean and plenty of seating. The outdoor pool area was great, definitely could’ve hung out there all day on a nice day. The beds were probably some of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in and pillows were awful, but the room was clean. It was fine for one night. Walls are very thin so you hear a lot. Didn’t bother me, but it could definitely bother someone. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency in Monterey! The location is great and super close to so many fun things in town. The property itself is lovely with cool amenities. Our check in process was seamless. Loved the bar and coffee shop on site. Definitely recommend the giant chess set! ”

”Nice property but could use a little updating & TLC”

”This is a clean and well maintained hotel. It has a bistro type restaurant and bar and the food is good though a bit generic. Marketplace is medium sized though prices are of course high. The courtyard is nice but be sure to get a room facing it and not the highway. The main downside is this obnoxious thing hotels are doing in CA since the pandemic, namely, not cleaning the room every day. Come on people that was 2-3 years ago. Spend the money and hire some staff. ”
