”Beautiful room and inn! Lauren was there to welcome us and we felt very at home. The breakfasts and available coffee, tea and snacks were so appreciated, as was the gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. Thank you for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!”

Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! ”We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location for winter and sunmer adventures, and not far from Lake Placid shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable room and sauna after a long day on the mountain, and the stocked kitchen made it easy and efficient to fuel up in the mornings. We will definitely return here again when we plan our next Adirondack adventure!”

”I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

”Haha! My review?! All good at check in. Once in the room, you can see that there is a space between the front door itself and the door frame. The wallpaper is peeling off the wall in the bathroom and the back window doesn’t lock. As I settle for the night, I realize that it’s getting cold and try to set up the heater only to realize the little heater under the bathroom counter is the only one working which is not enough for the room.
