”We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Achti Resort—easily the best hotel of our entire trip to Egypt. Our room was very clean and included a thoughtful welcome treat of Turkish/Lebanese-style baklava. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking both the Nile and the hotel’s beautiful garden. On our first evening, we enjoyed an amazing sunset right from our window. The next day we relaxed by the pool, had ice cream at sunset, and watched the sky change colors from the poolside—truly...

”I did not get free breakfast but the menu was very very reasonable and unique! The staff is so very kind. I met the owner and some of his family and they are incredible. He went out of his way to ensure I has a comfortable adventure while staying with them, from his suggested Nile river boat rides to private drivers. It was the most memorable trip I have ever had! Highly recommend!”

”First we had a small room without balcony although I had booked a Nile view room. But we got a huge room with a balcony overlooking the amazing garden. The hotel is a bit rundown but lovely. Breakfast was excellent. All in all wonderful three days”

”Mr. Ali and Abdullah, as well as the complete hotel staff takes care of us on all aspects. They are super friendly, that make you feel like they are your family.
They provided us the best options possible for visiting so many places in few days at the best price.
They really made as feel very comfortable… you can trust them very quickly.
For sure I fully recommend Shady Hotel in Luxor, they exceeded my expectations!!!”
