”Absolutely lovely hotel in Iriomote! Can't recommend it and the island enough! From the pristine and almost untouched beach right next to the hotel, to the events, helpful staff and nice facilities makes this a wonderful stay. You don't really need to think about anything here, it all just works. There is a bus shuttle from the boat when you check in, you don't need to reserve anything, it just works. We don't speak almost any japanese so we were a bit worried about having a hard time on...

”We are so pleased to have stayed 7 nights at HIRUGI. The staff helped us prior to arrival with car rental and restaurant reservations (we don't speak Japanese). The lady of the house is SUPER hospitable (speaks French too). So many positive aspects including tips on New Year activities taking place and a traditional dinner organized. We were the only couple there most nights, few other guests during our stay, so we mostly had the place to ourselves. We would definitely stay again and recommend...
