”Overall, a pleasant stay. Warm clean house with two fireplaces and all amenities for a family with little children to stay for a week. A grocery store and a gas station nearby. Nice not crowded rural area with beautiful views and the public beach on Rangeley Lake. One major issue not disclosed in the listing -- THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTIVITY with the outside world. ”Loafer’s Lodge was everything as described but better! Well-appointed with all the creature comforts of home made our family feel welcome. The mudroom is spacious, heated & included boot/glove dryers so our gear was dry & ready every morning as we headed out the door to the slopes. ”We enjoyed our stay in Rangeley! The property was clean, comfortable, and very roomy. We enjoyed walking out on the dock to see the ducks. The drives into Rangeley and Oquossoc are short and we had great day trips to area swimming spots. ”
