”Staff where superb, especially front desk team.”

”There was a very cosy feel to the hotel and the room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety and staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the pub on the first night and the meals were delicious. The room was fairly comfortable but it could do with some updating/replacing of items. The mattress was past it's best (resulting in an uncomfortable sleep on the first night) and the taps were loose, with drainage not working great. However we'd certainly return again.”

”Very pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Was upgraded on arrival to a twin bed room which was easier access for me as I was unfortunately on crutches. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. ”

”An amazingly beautiful property in a stunning location. Gorgeous rooms and a lovely garden. The owner was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and the dining room was like a room from a fairy story. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time”

”We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”
