”Three night stay. Comfortable room and bed. Daily housekeeping service and high standards of cleanliness. Could do with coat of paint on sills and below shower but otherwise good. Excellent timing for breakfasts 7 (or 8.30 at weekends) to 10.30 so visitors can feel relaxed. Wide breakfast choices. ”

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”

”The room and venue were both really good. Wifi was not great and often dropped out. Breakfast staff Mon/Tues were professional and helpful but the staff on duty for Weds/Thurs definitely need customer service training. ”

”All very pleasant, the food was fantastic, service was superb, awesome architecture! Advisory......Parking was difficult arriving during a busy period / shift. Not a major problem if you are patient and know / research, the " loop " around the village! Courtyard style carpark and approach road is hyper popular. 9.9/10..... I'll be back!!”

”Very pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Was upgraded on arrival to a twin bed room which was easier access for me as I was unfortunately on crutches. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. ”

”An amazingly beautiful property in a stunning location. Gorgeous rooms and a lovely garden. The owner was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and the dining room was like a room from a fairy story. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time”
