”Although the weather was not perfect, we had a delightful holiday here. Tony, the hotel owner, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He provided us with a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and activities. However, the hotel staff would need additional professional training. ”Overall really good, pool area is fantastic and location to the lagoon and water suburb. Only improvement could be that wifi is an extra charge which was quite a disappointment and their dining options could use some revamping (limited menu options in wild ginger restaurant).”

”We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. The staff were absolutely amazing my 3 year old loved the attention from all the staff from his babycino in the mornings to his daily catch ups with William...

”The room we had was lovely, they are a good size and we had a nice view. Breakfasts are good, decent range of food. The location was great, just catch the free ferry and you and in the ‘city’. The resort was nice and staff were lovely. Pls remember this is a developing country, not everything is always easily accessible. If you can remember that you will have a great time. ”

”I loved Breakas Beach Resort! It's not a high-end, super-glitzy kind of place, but a very lovely, relaxed, simple place to stay where they still take care of your every need. The individual cottages, built of local rock, roofed with palm leaves, and scattered through the beautiful forest, are simple yet elegant. The villa we stayed in was exceptional, I have stayed in many places and this is at the top of the list. Do yourself a favour and book in to Erakor it is truly exceptional, you will not want to leave. We didn’t want to leave and have decided to come back again. ”

”The hotel has definitely seen better days, everything was coming undone. The whole place could use a coat of paint... The bathroom door wouldn't close as it was falling apart. There were a ton of cockroaches running around (probably a common problem around the island but anyhow, annoying). The pool had no lounge chairs so bring a pool float or something unless you enjoy sunbathing on the hard ground. Wifi basically only worked in the lobby. Not worth it

"The hotel has definitely seen better days, everything was coming undone. The whole place could use a coat of paint... The bathroom door wouldn't close as it was falling apart. There were a ton of cockroaches running around (probably a common problem around the island but anyhow, annoying). The pool had no lounge chairs so bring a pool float or something unless you enjoy sunbathing on the hard ground. Wifi basically only worked in the lobby. The room was a good size and the little balcony was a nice addition, but I would not stay there again especially for the price we paid."
