”I had always heard about the Catskills, but had never been before now. Found the Shandaken Inn on an internet search, and wasn't sure if it would be all it seemed to be. it was even better! The property was gorgeous, surrounded by inviting peaks; a large open field, with a swimming pool at one end and several independent cottages at the other, offered a great place for our dog and us to amble; a short nature trail, well maintained, connected to an old railroad bed that was nice to stroll. ...

”Cosy room, clean bathroom, useable kitchen with all useful appliances. Loved the back yard with the fire pit. A little bit of a drive from our home but it was worth the effort. I would come again.”

”I had a good stay, there was an issue with the roof leaking in a heavy rain storm but was dealt with promptly. I was given another room and it in no way affected the stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating and adding an additional day to my stay was not a problem.”

”We stayed at the Hidden Inn in pursuance of our trip to Hobart for the book village and for my birthday on Friday. During our short stay, we felt we had an amazing experience feeling the warmth and hospitality of both Kurt and Lisa. Our room was very comfy and warm. We had a lovely experience at their restaurant Friday night; both Kurt and Lisa embraced us all during my birthday meal. The food was also delicious.”

”one bedroom suite was very nice and spacious. The heat and hot water were great. Upstairs occupants could be heard but they were quiet after 10 pm. Access into the apt was easy. Apt needs a deep clean and dusting. The night stand in the bedroom does not reach the bed height. Only 1 tv but we moved it and it worked fine in the bedroom. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Close to supermarket, CVS, restaurants, shops and of course skiing.”

”This place is in one of the nicest places in the Catskills close to a number of hiking trails. Very efficient utilization of living space and lots of open space to play and do other activities. Good office where you can get a number of games to play. Very prompt service from the host. Few utensils can be added to the kitchen.”
