”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...

”I was a last minute check-in, which was a little problematic, as they had sorry of closed for the evening. I was told that this is their not busy season, but I would still expect an establishment such as that to be open past six. Minor issue with the windows, where I had to close them from outside to avoid mosquitoes. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. If not for those inconveniences I mentioned, I would have given them 5 stars across the board. ”

Small things, such as doors in rooms not being able to close and the limited TV options (in case you get stuck in the rain or relaxing from a full day are limited.”

”We made reservations in November 2020 for our stay in June 2021. We arrived at the hotel and were turned away by the security guard as it was only housing housing COVID-19 guests. We had to quickly find a new hotel. This was a prepaid hotel stay and after calling the hotel multiple times we have still not received a refund.”

”Our stay at the hotel was really good! The standard room was not really spacious but it was clean and nicely decorated. Food in the restaurants was good but a little more pricey than in other hotels near by. The breakfast was really good! We especially enjoyed a kayak ride to see the sharks and rays few hundred meters from the hotel. Otherwise snorkeling next to the beach does not offer much compared to Hilton or especially Sofitel. ”

”Loved our stay at Mark’s Place. If you want to experience life in Moorea like the locals then Mark’s the place. Homes are Tahitian styled and built by Mark.
