”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...

”Kaveka is lovely. This is by far the best of 3 hotels/resorts we stayed at while in Tahiti. Our bungalo was steps away from the water where we could watch fish swim around the reef or look up at the dramatic tropical mountain landscape near us. ”We made reservations in November 2020 for our stay in June 2021. We arrived at the hotel and were turned away by the security guard as it was only housing housing COVID-19 guests. We had to quickly find a new hotel. This was a prepaid hotel stay and after calling the hotel multiple times we have still not received a refund.”

”Our stay at the hotel was really good! The standard room was not really spacious but it was clean and nicely decorated. Food in the restaurants was good but a little more pricey than in other hotels near by. The breakfast was really good! We especially enjoyed a kayak ride to see the sharks and rays few hundred meters from the hotel. Otherwise snorkeling next to the beach does not offer much compared to Hilton or especially Sofitel. ”

”This property is a stunner! If you can stay in a bungalow, even for a night, do it! A few things to note: The service at the main restaurant takes a very long time, whether they are busy or not. So don't expect to show up to eat when you're under a time crunch to get back to the airport (like we did).
