”Whale Rock Lodge is a lovely place. Very much a home away from home. Staff welcoming and efficient. We had a room in The Villa; a separate building to main house with it's own entrance and car park but only 30 steps to main building. The room and bathroom were large with fridge & tea/coffee making facilities. Good sized balcony with comfortable seating. ”Our room was beautiful with a spectacular view. The staff could not be more helpful. The shuttle bus was a bonus that we didn’t expect. The food was delicious. The only minor downside was the colour (grey) and size of the pool - although it was always spotlessly clean it appeared a bit murky. However, it wasn’t - it was just that it was painted grey. ”
