”We made a booking for this place to discover they were overbooked and we left standing in the lobby clueless what was going on for 2 hours. The manager completely ignored us taking calls intentionally when we were trying to resolve the situation. They downgraded us to a standard and expected us to pay full price until we called them out on this blatant deception. After we spoke to our manage magically a deluxe suite opened up and we had the room we paid for. The hot water in the shower latest...

”My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....

”It was ok. This room was not featured at all in the pictures, the only ones you see are the one with real balconies. There was hot water but was dripping, no pressure whatsoever. The second night, the electricity was off because apparently they weren’t equipped to power the entire property.”
