Hae hotelleja – Jefferson County

”Wonderful, cozy, rustic cabin in a beautiful environment with adequate wood to enjoy the wood stove and a well-equipped kitchen. Could use some comfortable chairs for sitting by the wood stove (we brought in the ones from outside) and pads on the legs of the heavy, metal bar stools to prevent unpleasant sounds when they’re moved. A little more cleaning in the corners and tops of logs would improve the cleanliness score, but really a great place to stay! We especially enjoyed all of the staff!”

”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”The location is great being downtown but the outside is outdated needing some love. They cancelled their breakfast. The water presure from the shower is extremely low. I know this may be due to save water but i think ends up wasting more water as people just take longer showers . The outside patio was great but water was falling on us from the deck above the whole time. Their greeting dog was awesome & the best thing about the hotel. ”
