It was a children's birthday party all day with shouting and screaming. All the sunbeds were taken and there was no room for the hotel guests. ”Excellent beachfront location. Rooms are tired though and need a bit of an upgrade for the star rating of the hotel and price you pay. It was also very busy with external guests booking events, so we felt 'watched' when we were at the pool. They could do with sectioning off the two sides and only allowing day visitos on the reception side of the hotel and residents on the other.”

”Our experience has a family at Anew Ocean Reef was a truly memorable one. All the staff from the early check-in to our meal preferences was exceptional. Zama was amazing, Stacia, Slindile, Jeffrey the head chef, Prudence, Disemba, Musa and Thulani were all great at the hotel's restaurant. Great service.”

”Really not happy with the site, when we got at the accommodation it had new people staying there spoke to an agent on the online chat I was told my case will be escalated and I would be refunded my money. Had to look for a new place to stay as the one I booked had new residence living there.”

”My stay was amazing. Simply amazing. The only comments I may have are for the staff to please fix the toilet seats in the unit. Otherwise, what an amazing stay. The pool was so clean ❤️”

”The accommodation is great and cozy, even if the weather is bad. You will however need to buy garbage bags if you planning on staying a while. Washing machine does tangle up the clothes and comes out drenched. You will need to bring your own washing powder. There is plenty of towels available. The place does say you can sleep 6 people but only had access to 2 bedrooms. There is no Vodacom signal but the wifi is good. The host Delia was great”
