”Just a little warning to other guests and those considering booking here! Saturday was terrible, 20 children with parents invaded the pool. It was a children's birthday party all day with shouting and screaming. All the sunbeds were taken and there was no room for the hotel guests. Poor service from the managers, no help to get so we had to leave the area. The reception should have warned us so we could plan our day differently and they should have maybe reserved some sunbeds for the guests. No...

”Our experience has a family at Anew Ocean Reef was a truly memorable one. All the staff from the early check-in to our meal preferences was exceptional. Zama was amazing, Stacia, Slindile, Jeffrey the head chef, Prudence, Disemba, Musa and Thulani were all great at the hotel's restaurant. Great service.”

”The accommodation is great and cozy, even if the weather is bad. You will however need to buy garbage bags if you planning on staying a while. Washing machine does tangle up the clothes and comes out drenched. You will need to bring your own washing powder. There is plenty of towels available. The place does say you can sleep 6 people but only had access to 2 bedrooms. There is no Vodacom signal but the wifi is good. The host Delia was great”

”Really not happy with the site, when we got at the accommodation it had new people staying there spoke to an agent on the online chat I was told my case will be escalated and I would be refunded my money. Had to look for a new place to stay as the one I booked had new residence living there.”

”I have hot flashes so it was important to have central air. It was not clear from the listing that there was no central air just a tiny unit in one bedroom that did little to cool the apartment. The agent was rude and very unhelpful- My son and I left the property after just 2 days- We had paid for a full 5 day stay, but she refused to reimburse any part of the money paid. Very poor customer service skills.”
