”Basic normal rooms. Room service was disaster. Recommend to avoid it. Took time and you can get better prepared food everywhere. Location and the hotel itself is beautiful. Nice walks around the hotel area.”

”I stay at this hotel quite regularly & the staff are always really friendly & helpful. Over the last couple of years there’s clearly been an upgrade to reception & the bar/dining area but unfortunately no money has been spent on the rooms… they are tired & not in great shape with chips out of the doors & carpets could go with a good clean, they just need a revamp ”

”After trying a number of different hotels I am now a regular at the Chatterley. Always a warm welcome and a comfy room. The gym is a real bonus and some breakfast items are available which is always handy. Clean and presentable rooms and a quiet location. Highly recommended. ”

”The only pics available online to book this cottage show some interior shots and the swimming pool. So I was unable to 'recognise' it from the outside and because it was dark when we arrived it was difficult to find it. However, from the outside it looks like a small cottage - but thanks to a generous extension it is quite spacious.
