”This is a beautiful and quiet property. The on-site restaurant provides a delicious breakfast. It is about an hour's drive from most attractions but is much more peaceful than staying in Roseau. Like most beaches in Dominica, this one is not swimable. This property is relatively isolated, so we ate most of our dinners there as well. The food is tasty and portions are large. ”

”Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm...

”The hotel is stunningly beautiful, clean and accommodating. The main issue was food and beverage service. The staff had no clue on how to wait on tables, present menus, serve beverage or food. We waited 45 minutes for 4 drinks only to be brought one, told two weren’t available and had to wait again for the last. It was disappointing at best. Food was good but they need training in their restaurants! ”

”My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Pagua Bay House. The property is close to the airport and has convenient parking. The room was clean, the bed was soft, the shower was huge, the pool was refreshing and everything sits on a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. The onsite restaurant and bar had great food and drinks as well. We will return for sure. Highly recommend!!”

”This is in an idyllic forest setting. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fun and tasty. There is parking outside and across the road. WiFi is great. It's the opposite of quiet but the noises are rainforest sounds and cattle, which is restful in a different way. The rooms are pretty basic and a little tired but have everything you need. It's convenient for the airport and river but there is no hiking near to the property. ”
