”We loved this upgraded glamping. Very comfortable with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a tv. Thoughtful common space amenities including space in the refrigerator. Enjoyed the use of beach chairs and snorkel gear for the day. Great location to Salt Pond. We loved our hike along Ram Head Trail and had gotten sandwich provisions at the market for a picnic. ”Great island camping experience! Loved the gathering area to hang out at while we cooked our breakfast and dinners and loved our hikes to Salt Pond. The fans kept us cool during the nights and we even had some deer visit us while we we eating a few times. Great place if you like to camp!”

”A very special place. Amazing property with a view like no other. We stayed in papaya (hot tub on the roof). The place is well equipped and absolutely perfect, they even had beach chairs and a cooler to borrow. I can’t imagine staying at any other place in St John.”

”Amazing view, loved the style with dark wood trim/doors, arches and turret windows. Comfy bed, soft sheets, loved the stone patio and nooks. Had a grwat breeze and no need for a/c. Slept with windows open and could here the wind, waves, birds and frogs. Great time, so relaxing.”

”I stayed on the north side for half of my vacation and at this spot for the second half. You definitely need a vehicle to get there. The site is cozy with plenty of amenities but know that it's camping. Everything functioned as it should. The fan was a very handy in the tent at night. It gets warm down here. It rained a bit while there so know that tents are never 100% waterproof. That said, none of my things got wet. If you are a tent camper, you know the normal culprits for leaks and plan...

”I wouldn’t want to experience St. John any other way. This is on a very quiet area of the island. Far from the tourists. I am a camper/ backpacker. I seek remote areas to be close to nature. ”This is a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations, the views are incredible. Had all the necessary amenities, was clean, and beautiful artwork, architecture, and furniture. Tommy was attentive and very helpful for anything at all you need from check in, general questions, and check out. Very convenient 1-2 min drive to both cinnamon and trunk. Grounds and architecture were sooo cool. Highly recommend, I will definitely stay here when we return to St. John. ”

”We loved this apartment. It was very spacious for the 2 of us and has a couple of nice outdoor seating areas. The power did go out our first night for a couple of hours, but someone brought us a lantern which was super nice! The only downside is we had trouble getting the check in and out instructions and I had to message the host to have them sent to me. But outside of that it was a lovely stay!”

”We stayed in the ground floor unit and it was plenty large enough for my husband, myself, and our two adult sons. The house is surrounded by vegetation - you will hear the roosters crowing in the morning and birds chirping outside. There is a small patio where you can sit and drink your morning coffee surrounded by the sounds of nature. The inside has all the modern amenities you need but is decorated in a way that preserves the authenticity of the island culture - we loved it! The AC unit in...

”Theresa was amazing! She met me at the market even when I was delayed. She was the best part. I knew the house was in Fish Bay but just a little farther than I would like to be from town. It was weird that the bedroom is basically in the kitchen with only curtains separating the two and no separation on the living room side. It served it purpose. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth it!”

”Tommy was great to work with. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Great for sunsets. Cottage worked great for us. Note that there is no view from the cottage. It’s tucked away. If you’re looking for a place with a view this is not it. Also note the Peter Bay beach is small (narrow). Great for sitting in chairs. Not great for swimming (too rocky). But this worked for us. Enjoyed our stay.”

”This is a lovely cottage in a private spot on the quiet side of St. John. It is very well equipped and comfortable. You get a view of the pond and the bay, enjoy the breezes, and relax! Mary is a superb host. She has thought of everything to make your stay the very best. There are beach chairs, a tent, flippers for snorkeling, etc. etc. Books and games for indoor entertainment. One caution- make sure to rent a Jeep so you can get in the final road to the cottage. ”
