”This was a beautiful property with the most beautiful views. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy nature. Limited menu options but Great tasting food options. :) I would say this is more for couples/visitors who are very comfortable with one another without modern hotel creature comforts. The outdoor restroom and shower was greatly on theme for this nature focused stay - it includes a large sea shell as a shower head. ”

”Es un hotel rústico pero bien hecho, muy limpio, con restaurante propio, la comida y el servicio muy buenos. Yo sugeriría cambiar la luz blanca de losfocos por una más cálida y acogedora. Las lámparas del comedor encandilan a los ojos y como detalle menor en los baños no hay portapapel ni porta jabon. ”

”If you truly want to get away, this is the place. Don’t expect nightlife or very much of a day-life outside hiking to the waterfall or sitting on the beach. For me, that was just enough! The room/hut we were in also had a really bad smell of mold though I didn’t see any. Awesome staff and the breakfast overlooking the ocean was worth it.”

”The property is located right above the outcropping that separates the 2 beaches at Yelapa, and the gate is in the main path in town. Great location, and you will enjoy all night the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks 30 feet below the wrap around balcony. The stairway down to the property is in great shape and charming. ”We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. The apartment was spacious with very comfortable furniture. ”

”Wow, I don't even know where to begin. This was the most romantic, amazing hotel my wife have EVER stayed in and we travel a lot. We flew into PV and the hotel arranged a taxi to boca, where a panga was waiting for us. Abbey was our panga driver whenever he needed us (for an extra fee) and he was great. ” We arrived hotel Acantilado in Tehuamixtle. Jalisco and the hotel informs us there are no rooms for us. We are 3 hours out in the middle of nowhere and it will be dark soon. I am thinking going to have to sleep in my car. So they now tell me that I can have a room for tonight, but it is not the room I paid for. I have only a place to sleep for tonight. We have an Expedia confirmation number, the reception is telling me there is no reservation. The reception told us to wait for the manager to...

”We went in the summer, super quiet and peaceful and safe. If you like something non commercial this is the place to go. Better if you like animals and speak a little Spanish. And most important bring cash money there are no ATM machines, Lagunita restaurant take credit cards. Very nice place😊”

”We loved the patio. Perfect place to do yoga, watch birds and the sunrise hits the patio directly which is amazing in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the host(s) are very responsive. The house is up on the hill, but it only takes 5-10 minutes to walk into town. Yelapa has lots going on at night and can be loud, we found the location of this house to be located perfectly as it is close to town but far enough away that you're not surrounded by it. We would definitely stay again!”

I was unable to get info back on rental (address) could not get on my phone had I been able to get info earlier a couple of weeks prior to leaving for Mexico would of been great. I had a picture and a local found the rental was lucky. Always love YELAPA very special place. ”
