”They have the best location in town for those who want to visit the Lalibela churches on their own. The staff is friendly and they even sent their own driver to meet me at the airport (price the same as for a shared shuttle). The dinner and the breakfast were excellent.”

”It has a great view of Lalibela from the bar, the restaurant, and the patio. It seems the property has not kept up probably due to the downtown of tourism and economy. My room had only one working table lamp so I ate my dinner in the dark. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was an average stay overall. ”

”So far the hotel is very good, service team is polite and helps on all questions. Restaurant and food is very good. Many mosquitos, but help with spraying and antimosquito nets. So, no problem at all. Price is fair. I was not served the offered free bottle of wine as stated in my booking. Room was not with lake view, as stated in my booking.”

”Es un hotel situado en una bonita zona, el exterior es muy bonito con grandes árboles y bonitos jardines, sin embargo la dirección del hotel es simplemente inexistente, las habitaciones están viejas y descuidadas, alquilamos 3 habitaciones y las 3 duchas estaban rotas. Después de 3 días aún no encontraban nuestra reserva y nos tuvieron una hora esperando en el check out hasta que conseguimos resolver el entuerto. El precio fué muy elevado para las condiciones del hotel. Francamente no...

”This property has a rustic appeal. The few staff working there are accommodating to the best they can. Its under renovation so I hope it will only improve with upgrades. The view is pleasing and the food is good. The water was hot and the western toilet is a plus. Overall, it was a nice stay.”

”The hotel oversees the city and is 30 minutes away from the main attractions. The room was very clean and staff is very friendly. I wish they can supply the bathrooms with shampoos in the future.”

”This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend.”

”There is no place or accommodation in the town bearing this name. The person behind this is running a scam. We were stranded with no where to go and in the end we ended up staying in another hotel paying the maximum dollar. It is unfortunate Expedia is allowing this to happen.”

”Good choice. Very good service, took us to the airport twice for collecting missing baggage. They served us breakfast at 6am when needed. Excellent Ethiopian coffee! Due to the limited English skills of the restaurant staff, pointing to the menu item is the best option. The reception speaks English well. Some equipment items in the bathroom need repair/replacement. Clean rooms, internet which worked well unless power cuts. ”
