”The common areas were very nice and the breakfast was wholesome. We enjoyed the opportunity to grab small snacks and drinks throughout the day. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet street but still very close to the canals which we enjoyed a lot as the city can get very hectic. We borrowed the hotel bikes which was a great way to explore the city. Our room had nice views, but it was slightly worn-off. ”

”Location the only positive thing. Triple room bathroom very moldy, posing serious health risk for guests and employees. Floors and sofa bed dirty. Breakfast modest, and every morning something was missing (bread, juice, cheese, forks/spoons). Would not order breakfast for 12,50 eur/person based on this experience. I regret booking this overpriced, poor quality Hotel.”

Disappointing Experience at a Five-Star Hotel

"We were deeply disappointed with our stay at this hotel, as several issues made our experience far below expectations for a five-star establishment. Firstly, the elevator was out of service for the entirety of our stay. Although we were repeatedly assured it would be repaired soon, this never happened. As a result, we had to walk up and down four flights of stairs every time we needed to access our room. Had we known the issue would persist, we might have requested a room change, but the lack of transparency made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. Secondly, the breakfast service left much to be desired. On two occasions, I ordered an omelette with cheese, specifically noting that I cannot eat pork. However, the first order arrived with ham, and the second with bacon. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially at a five-star hotel, where such dietary requirements should be handled with care and attention to detail. While we recognize there may have been positive aspects to the hotel, these significant shortcomings greatly impacted our overall experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel based on our stay."

Beautiful hotel

"Self-service check-out was nice and easy but self-service check-in had some technical issues. I did receive help from the staff but what I don’t understand is if there is staff available, couldn’t they have just checked me in? Now I had to write down all the information myself while the staff was standing next to me doing nothing. That’s just weird to me! Anyhow the hotel was beautiful, clean and silent. Very good location next to the metro!"

"The room wasn't ready when I arrived. They asked me to come back in 1h. I came back 1h 15min later. Room wasn't still ready. They asked me to wait. I wasnt able to do so because of my duties in the city. So I had to go to my meeting without the possibility to go to my room to change my clothes, etc."

"Aivan ihana hotelli, josta helppo lähteä ratikalla minne vaan haluaisi. Aamiainen erinomainen ja gluteenittomuuskin huomioitu. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja hyvä lentokenttäkuljetus. Kerrankin hyvä ja napakka sänky, missä nukkui hyvin. Suosittelen ja palaan vielä itsekin."

Excellent hotel, excellent service

"This is the best hotel I've been in Amsterdam. The reception personnel was incredibly nice, professional and friendly, and the room also exceeded my expectations with great views and very comfortable interior. The breakfast was also great with very convenient opening hours. I will definitely return to this hotel."
