”I really enjoyed the old Florida vibe here. I was surprised at the ashtrays on the tables outside each room, but we never had a neighbor so smokers weren’t a problem. The bed was great, one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Being on/ near the lake was great for an evening wind down. There are charcoal grills available in the ‘quad’ area. Also a fire pit, pool, and several outdoor activities. The kitchen was lacking, it had the basics, but barely. If you go and plan to cook at home, pack your own...

”Motel served it's purpose but that was about it. Beds were hard as rocks, may as well have slept on the floor. Found rat droppings under the beds. Had window AC that barely cooled the 300 sq ft room. Only opted to book due to how close in proximity to De Leon springs to be close enough to make it to the springs before capacity was hit on the 4th of July. If your looking for a comfy likely cleaner stay, this isn't it. ”
