”Easy check in online prior to arrival. Was welcomed by friendly staff and were shown straight up to our room and advised on the evening meal options. Had dinner in the restaurant which was good, and a range of local beer was available. Room was very comfortable with usual drink options plus a coffee machine. Good options on the breakfast menu, which was delicious. ”

”It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. I nearly fell out on one occasion. It was a horrible night and very sad because we were exhausted after a long drive from Wales and settling a family member...

”We had big problems when we arrived at 18.00 hrs; it lasted about 1 hr before the host arrived for the check in. The reason was that the Flying Bull closes on Sunday at 17.00 hr and we were asked to contact by telephone, but our efforts unfortunately failed. We had to ask help from Expedia, but a leaving guest could help us at last. Anyhow the room and brakfast were at least satyfying.”
