”Overall good hotel right at the water. We had a room without sea view, quiet with parking directly in front of the room. Bed was super comfy, however the room could've had a little more thought put into it. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, plus the switch for the night stand lights could not be reached when lying in bed. The windows could not be closed, so we had bugs inside. The bathroom did not have a fan to expel the moist air, which causes problems on the ceiling. In...

”My deluxe suite room, with spa bath, was just lovely. The view from the deck was of lovely trees, and you could see birds playing on the lawn. The whole room was spotless and furnishings were new and comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. The staff very friendly and helpful. Only 2km to Kerikeri shops and the weekend market was in walking distance. Would recommend.”

”Our experience with ‘Moongate villa’ was disappointing because on our 2nd day, some building works began next door which woke us up at 8.00am in the morning and the cement pouring and flattening machines started working. It’s no exaggeration to say that the whole of our building vibrated to the machines being used. As for the noise all of this created, it was horrendous! The owners of ‘Moongate villa’ agreed to give us 1 x night free of charge. Please confirm that you can refund us this back...

”Great location, just a few minutes walk into town. The receptionist was very helpful on our arrival. It was a lovely little unit, with a patio and chairs out front. The whole site is impeccable.
