”The hotel is a really good location. Walking distance to the Capitol and lots of venues. Only thing I did not like was the valet parking, you need to literally park in front of the entrance if not they make you move your car closer to their booth. The room did not have a city view it was block by the other part of the building. Room 907.”

”Enjoyed our stay during SXSW. Room was clean and comfy. Pool area is nice. Greeted with margaritas when you check in which is a nice touch. It does get noisy at night with all the bars near the hotel. Most of them had live music during SXSW. It didn’t bother us but is worth noting. ”

”It was an amazing stay! We loved the room accommodations and the breakfast items. Our only criticism would be the location; while it is convenient to get to downtown Austin from the highway, the constant noise at night makes it extremely difficult to sleep. However, the staff were so nice, the accommodations were plentiful, the elevators were nice, and the breakfast was lovely!”

”The mandatory bell service is very annoying. Both arriving and leaving, we were in a rush (arriving because we were only staying one night and wanted the kids to experience the pool) and leaving because I had just found out my dad was close to passing and I needed to get to the airport asap. Both times, we had to wait on the darn bellman with the dolly, which really upset me. Guests should have the option to take up their own luggage. It’s really offensive that this is not an option. ”Staff was great. Everything was really clean. Great location. My only suggestion would be if you are going to close the pool make people aware. Part of the reason we chose this property was the pool pics. No apology, no real explanation just told it was closed and we weren’t allowed out there. And I had a kiddo and it was spring break. ”

”Parking is always an issue with Austin downtown. At the time of my say, several streets and ramps from I35 were closed, making getting to the hotel a bit more challenging. The hotel is great if you're attending a conference. Staff were very friendly and I like the option of self parking. Though it would be nicer if parking was not as much for overnight stays. The pool has a nice view of the city skyline. ”
