Truly a spectacularly quiet place to enjoy time with family and friends. This completely renovated wood cabin provides sleeping for up to 9 guests.

This home has 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a King size bed, window seat, and a private bath with dual sinks, walk in shower and water closet. The guest room has a Queen Size bed and direct access to 2nd bathroom. The Bunk Room (third bedroom with 5 twin beds) has 2 bunk beds, one with 2 twin beds and a trundle and one with 2 twin beds. The Bunk Room shares a bathroom with the guest room. Cleverly design 2nd bath has a private area for shower leaving a 1/2 bath available when someone is showering.

Open floor concept, everything in one level! Generous kitchen with high end appliances (New 36" GE Café Gas Oven), open great room, oversized covered porch with grill, sitting and eating area, large fire pit - great spot to end the day roasting marshmallows and sharing your day's adventures. Outdoor deck by the lake provides easy access to dock as well as a wonderful relaxing or sun bathing spot. The dock holds a paddle board, kayak and a canoe for your enjoyment. Life jackets and paddle are located on the lower porch.

The kitchen is very well appointed with high end stainless steel appliances, granite, butcher block and a copper bar. Just added a new 36" GE Café gas oven. The kitchen conveniently hosts hidden stackable clothes washer and dryer.

Great room features a beautiful and well seasoned wood burning fire place and a 55' flat screen TV with Bose surround sound system, DVD player and Dish Network service.

This home gives you guest access to all the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities including 9-hole golf course and driving range, mini golf, tennis, walking trails, recreation center, discount on golf at Sapphire National, indoor pool, skiing/boarding the slopes at Ski Sapphire Valley, outdoor pool, hot tubs, sauna, game room, exercise room, Fairfield Lake boat, paddle boat, canoes, kayak, sail boat rentals.

Great family friendly cabin
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is great for bouncing around to Highlands and Cashiers. We did not get to take advantage of Sapphire valley bc they sold out by the time we got there which was pretty disappointing but we were able to go to Highlands Outpost for tubing which was fantastic. The indoor fireplace at the cabin was wonderful and we enjoyed it nightly. Overall the property is great and good for small kids 2 & under & young kids (there is no highchair though, so come prepared). We really want to visit again in the summer when we can appreciate all the property has to offer! The driveway is a bit difficult to maneuver but we managed and got used to it.

Another great week on Hogback Lake
Just came home from 8 days from this great property. This is our second trip here and it didn’t disappoint. The house is beautiful and the views are spectacular. Spent time on the dock trying different flys and caught two different types of sun fish and a brown trout. Nice size sunnies in the late afternoon. We used the amenities cards at Sapphire Resort and found some good Pickleball being played in the morning. We had some very nice rain for a couple of hours in the afternoon, which was perfect for puzzles and reading. The sound of the rain through the trees was good enough to video and send to friends. Went to several close by trails and waterfalls and lunch in Highlands. A great trip and would recommend this property highly.

Beautiful cabin and grounds!
This house was beautifully nestled into the woods. We enjoyed the canoe, paddle board and many kayaks trips up and down the lake. The scenery was so peaceful. The cabin was fully equipped and met all our needs. Very clean and cozy! The full back porch was a hit especially with the perfect weather and plenty of seating for all. The glider and rocking chairs were the best. Highly recommend!

Home was very clean and all the extras listed were there in excellent condition. Our family enjoyed the roomy home and large screen porch overlooking the trees and lake. We especially enjoyed the dock with canoe and kayak to use in quiet pristine water. Life jackets, oars and other equipment were available.The resort amenities and groceries in nearby Cashiers were convenient.Met our expectations as described in the VRBO post.

Lots of privacy -- big back porch. Nice dock with lake access. Amazing kitchen. This house is beautifully built with lots of natural light. We had good weather during our stay, but even if we'd have been rained in we would have enjoyed hanging out in this house.

Great little cabin!
Loved this cabin! My husband and I stayed for 10 days with our two sons. Close to all of the waterfalls, hiking, adventures we wanted to do. The home was really cozy and surrounded by nature. I loved sitting on the deck every morning and listening to the birds.

Successful scouting mission
My wife and I were looking for a place to rent in the mountains in the fall. My son and I like to fly fish in local streams and rivers, but also wanted to try some lake fishing. This property was the perfect fit for all we could ask for. Very comfortable, well appointed, a dock on the lake, nearby rivers, hiking and shopping checked all of our boxes. We’ve already booked it for a week in September. We usually make our time in the mountains for adults, but this house may be the one that we can bring our younger grandchildren. Fabulous and beautiful.

Ample space for 2 families of 4 (totaling 4 young kids). Loved the outdoor fireplace! The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Great location with being close to Cashiers and Highlands. We took a day trip to Pigeon Forge, that was a beautiful and scenic drive (just over 2 hours) thru Smoky Mountains National Park. The local resort website posted skiing and tubing was available, but it was not accurate- we still had lots of fun with that. Would love to come back in the summer for lake activity!
